VI 129/130 De profundis clamavi ad te Domine
VII 142/143 Domine exaudi orationem meam: auribus percipe

A. (Ps. 6:9) Discedite a me omnes qui operamini iniquitatem / Quoniam exaudivit Dominus vocem fletus mei. "Depart from me, all you who work injustice / For the Lord has heard the sound of my weeping."

B. (Ps. 31:8) Intellectum tibi dabo / Et instruam te in via hac qua gradieris / Firmabo super te oculos meos. "I shall grant you understanding /And lead you in the way in which you are to walk. / I shall keep my eyes on you."

C. (Ps. 37:8) Putruerunt et corruptae sunt cicatrices meae / A facie insipientiae meae. "My wounds stink and fester / because of my unwisdom."

D. (Ps. 50:10) Auditui meo dabis gaudium et laetitiam / et exsultabunt ossa humiliata. "Thou shalt grant joy and rejoicing to my hearing / And the humbled bones will celebrate."

E. (Ps. 101:3a) Non avertas faciem tuam a me / In quacumque die tribulor / Inclina ad me aurem tuam "Do not turn your face from me. / Whenever I am in distress, / incline your ear to me."

F. (Ps. 101:9) Tota die / Exprobrabant mihi inimici mei / Et qui laudabant me, adversum me iurabant "All day long / my enemies would find fault with me; / even those who used to praise me / would testify against me."

G. (Ps. 101:19) Scribantur haec / In generatione altera / Et populus qui creabitur / Laudabit Dominum "Let these things be written in another generation / and a people yet to be created will praise the Lord."

H. (Ps. 142:6) Expandi manus meas ad te / Anima mea sicut terra sine aqua tibi. "I have streched out my hands to Thee, / My soul is like a land without water [thirsting] for Thee."
